Man dressed as Minion rejected by supermarket
     2015-August-13  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A MAN was asked to leave a supermarket because he was trying to buy bananas dressed as a Minion.

Mike, who didn’t want to give his last name, claims he was trying to buy bananas before heading off to cheer on his pals, who were doing a sponsored 22-mile (35-km) walk.

As well as going with his bright yellow costume, Mike thought bananas would also be a good snack to give his friends to boost their energy along the way.

Dressed as a Minion — first seen in the “Despicable Me” movies and then the “Minions” film — went to the Morrisons supermarket in Preston, Lancaster, the U.S.

Mike, in his 40s, from Preston, Britain, said, “I walked in and a few people saw me and wanted pictures, so I stopped for pics with the kids.

“I continued into the store and walked up to the cake area and then went to the fruit area to look for some bananas.

“I found bananas and then the manager came over and asked me if I had permission to be in the store and if was I raising money for charity.”

Once the manager was informed Mike was not collecting for charity, he asked Mike to leave the Morrisons store and to not come back.(SD-Agencies)
