Spoiler
     2015-August-31  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

    Spoil作为动词是“溺爱、损坏”的意思,spoiler是什么意思呢?请看对话:

A: I sent you a movie review yesterday. Have you read it?

B: No. And I’m not planning to.

    A: Why not?

B: Because I haven’t seen the movie yet. The essay says “the following review contains spoilers.” I don’t want to know the ending of the movie.

A: I agree. But there are also lousy movies that you can figure out what’s going to happen next even without spoilers.

Note: “Spoiler alert” is a term to describe when crucial elements of a movie are about to be revealed (i.e. the ending, character deaths, a twist, etc.). It can really ruin the fun of watching a movie.
