Chinese pop singer rocks on the ‘top of Europe’
     2015-September-3  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A CONCERT at the “top of Europe,” Jungfrau, borders on something surreal, but for young Chinese pop singer Gloria Tang Tsz-Keiit, it is also a dream come true.

With the snow-capped panoramic scenery of the Alps, the 24-year-old singer, also known by her stage name G.E.M., Monday put on an energetic music show at a height of around 3,500 meters, marking the first Chinese artist to perform at Jungfrau, a symbol of the Swiss Alps.

On a stage built on the snow, the star took hold of the audience with her hit songs. The altitude did not seem to cramp her style nor stunt her powerful voice.

Tang was born in Shanghai and moved to Hong Kong when she was 4. She gained more popularity after competing on the popular Chinese singing reality show “I Am a Singer.”
