A U.S. woman growing tomatoes in her garden said she was tending her crop when she discovered a fruit shaped perfectly like a rubber duck.

    Maria Davidek of Mount Morris in Genesee County, Michigan, said she made the unusual discovery while gardening last week.

    “I picked it up and thought, ‘Oh my gosh! He looks just like a little duck!’” Davidek told CBS Detroit.

    Davidek said she knew she had to show the unusual tomato to her husband, Bob.

    “I said, ‘no, no... you didn’t find a duck’ and she showed me that. And it was a chicken or a duck,” Bob Davidek told WWMT-TV.

    Marie Davidek said she hasn’t decided whether the duck tomato will become a quack-shaped snack.

    “I don’t know whether I would ever ... but he’s getting riper so the day is coming when I know I won’t have my duck tomato anymore,” she said.

    Davidek said she hopes the tomato’s fame will inspire other budding gardeners.(SD-Agencies)
