Firefighters using eight water cannons try to extinguish a fire at a typhoon shelter at Hong Kong’s Shau Kei Wan yesterday. Five people sustained minor injuries and were sent to the hospital as nine boats caught fire. The fire broke out at around 2 p.m. Black smoke could be seen billowing from the scene and explosions were heard. Firefighters rushed to the site and the fire was under control about two hours later.
