THE finale of the fourth season of the Chinese singing talent show “The Voice of China” wrapped up at the Bird’s Nest in Beijing on Wednesday, with 34-year-old Zhang Lei from Heilongjiang Province winning the title.

    It also marked a third win of coach Na Ying’s team since the show launched in 2012.

    At the last round of competition, Zhang performed rocker Xu Wei’s hit song “Journey” and won over Chen Zitong from coach Jay Chou’s team, with 66 votes from the media panel, and over 58 percent support from the live audience.

    The other three finalists were Li An from Chou’s team, Tan Xuanyuan from Harlem Yu’s team and Bei Bei from the team of rocker Wang Feng. During the finale, each coach performed a song together with their students, just as in the previous three seasons.(SD-Agencies)
