CHINESE singer Jane Zhang’s proposal of marriage to her boyfriend two months ago was finally accepted. Zhang shared her excitement on her Weibo account Saturday.
“Thanks for your blessings. Though Michael [Feng Ke] said he forgot to say a lot of things on stage, he sang a song that he wrote for me there, which was enough,” Zhang wrote with a photo showing her engagement ring on Weibo.
Feng was criticized by Zhang’s fans for being passive when the singer asked him whether he wanted to marry her or not at a concert two months ago. Feng finally made things right, though, when he proposed to Zhang on Saturday night at her concert in Chengdu. He kneeled down after the showing of a specially made video.
Feng is the CEO of Zhang’s management company and their 12-year relationship has long been an open secret within the entertainment industry. This will be his second marriage and the first for Zhang. Zhang has previously alluded to being in a relationship by responding to questions with, “I have been blissfully happy all this while.”
