GZ Evergrande ties Shandong
     2015-October-26  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

THE defending champion Guangzhou Evergrande missed the opportunity to claim the tile one round ahead of time as it tied Shandong Luneng 2-2 at home in the 29th round of 2015 Chinese Super League (CSL) yesterday.

Guangzhou’s Ricardo Goulart scored the opener in the 5th minute. Shandong’s Walter Montillo pulled one back in the 60th. Elkeson collected Goulart’s pass and scored for Guangzhou in the 76th, but Han Peng’s goal rounded off the game 2-2.

Guangzhou Evergrande has a 2-point lead over its title-rival Shanghai SIPG, who won 2-0 at Changchun Yatai. Wu Lei’s two crucial goals secured SIPG’s hope to win the 2015 Chinese Super League. Evergrande and Shanghai SIPG will take the title race to the final round Oct. 31.

Following a goalless first half, Tianjin Teda beat Beijing Guoan 4-0, as Zhou Haibin, Wagner and Nie Tao scored for the team.(Xinhua)
