Mourinho may be sacked if Chelsea loses
     2015-October-27  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

JOSE MOURINHO will be clinging to his job if Chelsea loses to Liverpool on Saturday, the Mirror reported yesterday.

The club Sunday insisted the Blues boss still enjoyed their support despite a fifth league defeat of the season.

Owner Roman Abramovich is believed to have been out of the country this weekend celebrating his birthday. But the Chelsea hierarchy are said to be increasingly concerned about the conduct of the manager, following his dismissal at West Ham.

The FA will wait to receive referee Jon Moss’ report of his half-time confrontation with the Portguese before further action.

Chelsea will face a charge of failing to control their players after Nemanja Matic was sent off and five stars were booked.

Mourinho will be on the bench for today’s Capital One Cup game at Stoke and then it’s a lunchtime showdown with Liverpool at the Bridge on Saturday.

Should he be axed, ex-bosses Carlo Ancelotti and Guus Hiddink are immediately available.
