Leonardo DiCaprio has a Swedish ‘twin’
     2015-November-3  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

IF you’re still pining over Leonardo DiCaprio circa “Titanic,” then you’re in luck.

A 21-year-old Swedish man named Konrad Annerud is creating quite a stir on social media for his uncanny resemblance to a young Leo.

Annerud, whose Leo-esque slicked-back dirty blonde hair and smoldering gaze has earned him more than 58,000 Instagram followers, says he is often confused with his 40-year-old doppelganger.

“It can become a bit hard sometimes when people call me Leo instead of my name,” Annerud told Swedish website Nyheter.

“I get to hear that I look like him quite often, especially since I work as a bartender in a nightclub,” he said.

“But it’s fun to be like him. He’s handsome,” added the bartender, model and musician, who also dresses in a similar style to Leo’s mid-90s look.

He’s regularly seen on Instagram rocking leather jackets, tight white T-shirts, tight jeans, and boots.

Annerud also smokes cigarettes — although not the e-cigarettes that Leo is known for puffing.

At first glance, Annerud’s Instagram account looks like a tribute page to Leo’s young days as an actor, when he became a heartthrob after starring in “The Basketball Diaries,” “Romeo and Juliet,” and “Titanic.”

Annerud said he’s had a difficult time getting used to the attention of looking just like Leo.

“It’s much worse when I am abroad,” he told Nyheter. “When I was in Italy last summer, I kind of felt like I wanted to shave off my hair. It was chaos.

“People shouted ‘Leo!’ and wanted to take pictures all the time. It was the craziest thing I ever experienced.”
