Surviving Christmas

    Drew is a wealthy and lonely executive. With the idea of facing another lonesome Christmas, Drew decides to visit his childhood home and possibly relive some holiday memories. When he arrives, he finds that the house he was raised in is no longer the home he grew up in. Offering the new owners a small fortune, Drew bribes his newfound “parents” to let him spend Christmas in their home, pretending to be part of the family.

    “Summer in February” is set in the years running up to the First World War and focuses on the wild and bohemian Lamorna Group, dominated by the charismatic Alfred Munnings. The incendiary anti-Modernist Munnings, now one of Britain’s most sought-after artists, is at the heart of a complex love triangle, also involving aspiring young painter Florence Carter-Wood and Gilbert Evans, the land agent in charge of the Lamorna estate.
