Man named Taylor Swift inundated with fan mail
     2015-November-10  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

    IT was his name first.

But a 30-year-old photographer from Seattle named Taylor Swift had to change his email address from Taylorswift@gmail.com to something else after messages meant for the 25-year-old “Wildest Dreams” singer flooded his inbox.

“Overall, it’s just kind of hilarious because of how famous she is,” Swift said of sharing a name with an international superstar.

Despite having a sense of humor, Swift said he considered changing his name a few times after his email inbox was filled up with emails from super fans and others who exhibited stalker behavior online.

“It’s funny to see who reaches out to you when you’re in the public eye because they think they know things about you,” Swift said.

In addition to admirers professing their love to Swift thinking he is the pop star, others will confide in him about their experiences with bullying and write about how the pop star’s music helped them to cope with the more difficult times in life.

Swift said that one of the most humorous fan letters he’s ever received was from a man who wanted Taylor Swift to write a song about him riding on his motorcycle in the moonlight as the songstress sat on the seat behind him.

Swift, who has blonde hair and blue eyes like the singer, says he doesn’t share her love of singing. “My voice is terrible,” he said.

Swift, who gets teased by Barista’s at Starbucks and at restaurants when he makes reservations, says the jokes can get a little old after a while.(SD-Agencies)
