AMERICAN country star Tim McGraw has released his 14th studio album, “Damn Country Music.”
The album’s title track is a song that reflects the highs and lows of the music industry, which McGraw depicted with his crew in the song’s video.
The 48-year-old singer elaborated on the reason he picked this song.
“There’s a passion for the music that you have and that’s why you move to town. That’s initially what drew me to it. What you have to give up when you’re chasing your dreams. The things that you lose along the way, but the things that you gain as well. For me, everything good that has come into my life has come from music, country music in particular.”
McGraw also revealed he was nervous about asking his daughter Gracie to sing with him on his new album, and even superstar wife Faith Hill wasn’t much help in getting up the nerve.
“The biggest problem was that I was scared to ask her, cause she’s cool and I am not cool. I am the furthest thing from cool in her mind. Especially me, my music, anything. She doesn’t want anything to do with it. So I was scared to ask her.”
“Damn Country Music” was released Nov. 6 in the U.S. and features 14 new songs.
