Kate Winslet as glamorous Russian mafia boss in ‘Triple 9’
     2015-November-13  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

SHE’S currently on the promotional trail for new movie “The Dressmaker,” in which she plays a glamorous haute couture designer. And Kate Winslet will only reiterate her versatility as an actress when she stars as a Russian mafia boss in upcoming action flick “Triple 9.”

The 40-year-old star will evoke the ultimate femme fatale as the incredibly powerful, and equally dangerous, Irene.

The intense new trailer sees Winslet ooze sex appeal in an array of low-cut blouses, while her blonde locks are worn in a voluminous coiffed style.

One scene sees the award-winning actress look quite the screen siren in a plunging red gown with a daring thigh high split, as she pulls on a cigarette while talking to Gal Gadot, who plays her younger sister in the movie.

The trailer even sees Winslet try her hand at a Russian accent.

Helmed by John Hillcoat (“Lawless”), the story follows a crew of dirty cops is blackmailed by the Russian mob to execute a virtually impossible heist, they realize the only way to pull it off is to manufacture a 999, police code for “officer down.”(SD-Agencies)
