Clockenflap in HK
     2015-November-19  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

Clockenflap Music and Arts Festival, an annual music and arts festival in Hong Kong, will be held at West Kowloon Cultural District on Nov. 27-29. It incorporates international, regional and local live music, film, art installations and a kids’ area.

Hong Kong’s most ambitious music festival, Clockenflap encompasses the best of rock, indie and pop. The lineup includes New Order, The Libertines, A$AP Rocky, Chic Ft. Nile Rodgers, Ride, Swervedriver, Flying Lotus and many more.

With an open call this year to artists everywhere, a most marvelous menagerie of visual, audio and performance art awaits you at Clockenflap 2015. The film tent will be the cloaked rabbit hole for the curious to escape the hustle and bustle of the festival and enter new worlds of audio-visual imagination.

Collect your headset as you enter “Cinema Silenzio” and allow yourself to be enveloped, engrossed and truly affected by our 2015 screening program.

Like everything else at Clockenflap, a diverse platter of snacks will be served up to festival attendees. Catering to all budgets and tastes, a veritable cornucopia of Hong Kong’s culinary boutique offerings awaits.

Silent Disco has become a real fans’ favorite at the festival. Grab a pair of free-to-loan headphones, strap on your favorite pair of boogie shoes and gaze at that stunning Hong Kong skyline as you groove to some late-night tunes in the wonderful outdoors.

Once again Hong Kong’s finest indie crafters, Handmade Hong Kong, will curate the Clockencraft Handmade Market. Take this opportunity to peruse the creative do-it-yourselfers and take home unique, made with love items whilst supporting the city’s growing local independent maker scene in the process.

    Dates: Nov. 27-29

Venue: West Kowloon Cultural District, Kowloon, Hong Kong

MTR: Get off at Kowloon Station to reach Nga Cheung Road, followed by a 10-minute walk
