PJ Bruyniks to exhibit installations

    Dutch artist PJ Bruyniks will exhibit his four large sculpture installations created during the past three months at Da Wang Culture Highland. His installations incorporate bamboo, ceramics, paper, silk and wood.

    Bruyniks initially started his artistic path as a painter and was involved in initiating and organizing art events. It was at this time that he started to explore other art mediums, which led to studying at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy of Fine Arts, Amsterdam. After graduating in 2013, he broadened his practice to work with all different kinds of materials. He has worked on projects and exhibited across Europe and South Korea.

    The artist will give a talk at 8 p.m., Nov. 27 at Houyuan Coffee Gallery in the Wutong Art Village.

    Dates: Nov. 28-Feb. 28

    Venue: Da Wang Culture Highland, Wangtong Road 1188, Luohu District (罗湖区望桐路1188号大望文化高地)
