Thanksgiving Bazaar in Shekou

    Vendors, artists, musicians and performers will join Independent Preparatory Academy (IPA) in Shekou to celebrate Thanksgiving.

    As part of the organized activities for the bazaar, the academy has planned a number of fun and educational activities such as a presentation on the history of Thanksgiving and an exciting turkey hunt. There will be live music as well as a dance performance.

    Ukrainian cheese, cakes, body-care products, organic food and Indian hand paint (henna) will be available at the bazaar.

    The International Thanksgiving Bazaar is in support of A Heart for China, a charity group aimed at helping children, the elderly, and the disadvantaged in China.

    All the proceeds from the ticket sales and a percentage of the vendors’ sales will go to A Heart for China. Local and international communities in Shenzhen are welcome to join and help the charity event.

    Time: 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Nov.21

    Tickets: 10-15 yuan

    Venue: Independent Preparatory Academy, 7/F, Building C, Wanhai Building, Nanhai Boulevard (南海大道万海大厦C栋7楼慧昇书院)
