CHINESE nickel producers will meet tomorrow to discuss the market situation and potential production cuts after prices fell this week to their lowest in more than a decade, industry sources said yesterday.
“We will have the meeting and discuss about the market situation Friday, but we haven’t decided anything yet,” said a source.
Another source who spoke to a Chinese nickel producer said some companies were looking at cutting production after major Chinese zinc smelters announced last week that they will slash total output by nearly a fifth next year.(SD-Agencies)
