Journalists watch as a train leaves the Futian High-speed Railway Station on Wednesday, when the station was put into a trial run. The station, said to be the largest underground railway station in Asia, now test-runs 13 round-trip trains to Shenzhen North Railway Station daily. It will also serve the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong high-speed trains after the rail line is completed. The Futian station, located in Futian CBD, is smaller than New York’s Grand Central Terminal. The station will be officially put into operation by the end of this year. Wu Kaifeng
