The Academy (IPA), which offers a British curriculum, will hold an Open Day on Dec. 12 for international and Chinese students grades 7-13.

    The event will give the students and their parents the chance to learn more about the curriculums the school has to offer and allow prospective students to experience what life as an Academy student is really like.

    During the Open Day, after a brief talk about The Academy, the students and parents will take part in team building activities followed by five subject and age-specific demo classes for the students and curriculum talks given by the school’s teachers for the parents.

    After the demo classes, the students and parents will have the opportunity to take advantage of a free 40-minute golf session at Shenzhen University.

    “The Open Day is a great opportunity for prospective students and their parents to learn what The Academy has to offer and for the students to get a feel for what to expect as an Academy student,” said Ed Dawes, director of student affairs for The Academy.
