    据《中国日报》报道，自1992年中国允许海外领养以来共有超过10万中国孩子被美国家庭收养。请看本报昨日的报道：

    About 100,000 Chinese children have been adopted by U.S. families since China opened its doors to overseas adoption of Chinese children in 1992, according to a China Daily report Tuesday.

    Since 2000, U.S. citizens have adopted more babies from China than any other country, according to the Ministry of Civil Affairs.

    Official figures show that nearly 90 percent of the adopted Chinese children are female, 44 percent under 1 year old and 52 percent between 1 and 4 years old. About 80 percent of the adopted Chinese orphans are children with special needs, a report by the Global Times said.
