心水
xīnshuǐ
Meaning: "心" means "heart" and "水" means "water." This term originally meant "idea," "thinking" or "mood" in Buddhist scriptures and ancient poems. In the Cantonese dialect, it's often used to describe something or someone that wins your heart.
Example:
A: 又在网购了?
Yòu zài wǎnggòu le?
Are you shopping online again?
B: 这件大衣的款式正合我心水,你看怎样?
Zhèjiàn dàyī de kuǎnshì zhèng hé wǒ xīnshuǐ, nǐ kàn zěnyàng?
