Here comes No Square jazz quartet
     2015-December-10  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

Swiss jazz quartet No Square will present a night of jazz tomorrow at On Stage in Nanshan District.

No Square was established in 1994, and the members are saxophonist Matthieu Durmarque, pianist Matthieu Roffe, bassist Andre Hahne and drummer Jean-Babtiste Pinet.

No Square has performed at numerous clubs and festivals and has released eight albums. Within the classic format of jazz, rooted in a modern almost post-bop style, No Square has developed its own style.

Miguel Bronfman of Buenos Aires Herald once commented, “The band’s collective energy, the way they transmit their cohesion and their mutual commitment and their melodic, emotionally expressive improvisations and creative percussive and rhythmic variations are a real pleasure to listen to.”

    Time: 8:30 p.m., Dec. 11

    Tickets: 60-80 yuan

Venue: On Stage, 1/F, Unit B, Block 4, Shenzhen Software Industry Base, intersection of Keyuan and Xuefu roads, Nanshan District (南山区学府路与科园路交汇处深圳市软件产业基地4栋B座一层飞马旅)
