Canadian string ensemble Collectif9 will perform at the Shenzhen Concert Hall.

    They perform classical music with rock-style charisma, combining boldness and the highest of musical standards with amplification and lighting. Since forming in Montreal in 2011, the group has connected with a culturally curious audience thanks to their diverse repertoire and unparalleled drive. Covering everything from Gagnon to Golijov, passing through Brahms and Schnittke, Collectif9 will treat you to an organic classical sound, presented with all the power you’d expect from a rock concert.

    Between bursts of energy and dreamlike states, many of the presented pieces are original arrangements. During the 2015-2016 season, Collectif9 will release their debut album.
