    ‘Kung Fu Panda 3’

    A MANDARIN customized version of “Kung Fu Panda 3” will meet the Chinese audience Jan. 29. DreamWorks’ CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg says it is a redesign and rewrite of the script. The Mandarin version also adds some dialect elements to help Chinese audiences get punchlines.

    

    Rose Siggins dies

    ROSE SIGGINS, who played a legless character on “American Horror Story: Freak Show,” died Saturday in Denver, a representative said. Siggins, whose character on the show was named Legless Suzi, was 43.

    Siggins was born with a rare genetic disorder known as sacral agenesis in which her legs were deformed and amputated. She was married and had two children.

    

    ‘Valerian’

    HERBIE HANCOCK has joined the cast of Luc Besson’s sci-fi epic “Valerian.” The French director announced the news on Instagram Saturday morning. Though the Grammy and Oscar-winning musician’s role is unknown for the graphic novel adaption, if it’s anything like Rihanna’s role, according to the director, it will be “big.”
