Watercolor biennale

    More than 250 watercolor paintings created by international artists are on display at the Shenzhen International Watercolor Biennale at the Shenzhen Art Museum in Luohu District.

    The event promotes innovations in modern watercolor painting. The biennale received 3,779 paintings from 73 countries and regions. The judges are Chen Jian (China), Maureen Bloomfield (U.S.), Jean Noble (U.K.), Shang Hui (China), Tie Yang (China), Joseph Zbukvic (Australia) and Janine Gallizia (France).

    Dates: Until Dec. 27

    Hours: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

    Venue: Shenzhen Art Museum, inside Donghu Park, Luohu District (罗湖区东湖公园内深圳美术馆)

    Metro: Huanzhong Line, Tai’an Station, Exit A, then take a taxi for a 10-minute ride(Cao Zhen)
