Polish DJ Piotr Bejnar and German DJ Dr. Motte will perform at Pepper Club on Friday and Saturday, respectively.

    Hardly anyone has so decisively formed and shaped the techno scene like Dr. Motte. He is a dreamer and visionary, an ambassador for electronic music worldwide. His DJ career started in 1985. Now after 30 years of being active as a DJ, Dr. Motte still tours around the world, playing at the biggest festivals and in the most renowned clubs.

    Together with 44 artists and entertainment professionals involved with the electronic music scene in Germany, he founded Electrocult_e.V. — an organization for the support, care and demonstration of electronic music and club culture. Chosen by the members as an honorary director, he began seeking recognition of electronic music as world’s cultural heritage with UNESCO.

    Bejnar is a producer and owner of Otake Records and definitely the most eccentric figure of the Polish clubbing scene.

    He experiments with various

    innovative techniques, presenting a generous spectrum of sounds, making his live-acts a truly unique experience. He released many EPs on German, Canadian, Polish labels and was considered to be one of the best Polish artists. His Boiler Room performance is truly unique.

    He played on the main Polish festivals such as Audioriver and Opener and in many clubs throughout the world.

    In 2014, he opened his record label Otake Records, releasing his debut single, “She’s Crazy.” Anyone who has seen Piotr at least one time will definitely agree that he is an exceptional figure in the electronic music scene.
