AN American woman has won US$1 million in lottery money for the second time in less than a year.

    Jane Hoyt, from Lynn, Massachusetts, is the first grand prize winner in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “US$1,000,000 Holiday Bonus” instant game and she recently claimed her prize.

    This is the second US$1 million instant ticket prize she’s won in seven months.

    Christian Teja, with the Massachusetts State Lottery, said that back on June 10, 2015 she claimed a US$1 million prize in the US$30 “World Class Millions” instant game at the Shaw’s supermarket on Andover St. in Peabody.

    “Once again (she) chose the cash option on her prize and received a one-time payment of US$650,000 (before tax withholdings),” explained Teja, adding, “She plans on putting her winnings toward her recent retirement.”

    Hoyt purchased her latest winning ticket at Debro Liquors on Eastern Ave. in Lynn and they’ll be receiving a US$10,000 bonus for making the sale.

    There are still 2 additional US$1 million prizes that remain in the “US$1,000,000 Holiday Bonus” instant game.
