American instrumental post-rock band Caspian will perform at B10 Live on Feb. 26.
Caspian was formed in 2003 in Massachusetts and performed their first concert in 2004. After releasing their debut EP “You Are the Conductor” in late 2005, the band spent a whole year touring the United States and Canada and writing their debut full-length record “The Four Trees,” which was later released in 2008. The band’s second LP “Tertia” was released in September 2009 and was followed by two massive European tours in 2010. That same year, the band debuted in China. In September 2012, they released their third full-length album “Waking Season.”
Caspian draws from a broad scope of influences, ranging from the ambient sophistication of Eluvium and Brian Eno to the crushing fury of art-metalists such as ISIS and Tool. Caspian shares common threads with Sigur Ros, M83 and The Appleseed Cast.
