    A 32-year-old man was detained for scalping train tickets after buying 38 tickets with ID cards borrowed from his friends and relatives, the Southern Metropolis Daily reported.

    The man, surnamed Peng, was trying to resell the train tickets at a higher price at the Shenzhen North Railway Station on Saturday when he was questioned by two police officers. Peng bought 38 train tickets online and at ticket machines. The tickets were for trains departing from Shenzhen for Huizhou and Pingshan. He used nine different ID cards from his friends and relatives.
