Here comes Maximilian Hecker
     2016-February-18  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

German musician Maximilian Hecker will give a show in April at the Nanshan Cultural and Sports Center.

Known for ethereal pop or dream pop music, Hecker’s style is similar to Radiohead, Sigur Ros, Tom Baxter and Nick Drake. He describes his songs as “melancholy pop hymns.” Hecker learned to play the piano, the drums and the guitar at Freiherr-vom-Stein-Gymnasium in Bunde in 1997.

In 2000, the demo of his song “Cold Wind Blowing” was used for the score of German director Esther Gronenborn’s movie “alaska.de.”
