    The owner of a restaurant who allegedly ripped off diners during the Lunar New Year holiday is to face a fine of 500,000 yuan (US$77,000) in Harbin, Northeast China’s Heilongjiang Province. The restaurant has also been ordered to shut down, according to the Xinhua News Agency.

    Chen Yan, a tourist from Changzhou, East China’s Jiangsu Province, complained online Feb. 12 that he was charged 10,000 yuan for three big fish at a local wild fish restaurant in Songbei District of Harbin.
