Absurdist comedy to amuse locals

    Chinese absurdist comedy “Goodbye Mr. Loser” will amuse local audiences.

    As one of the best productions by Mahua Fun Age Productions Co. Ltd., “Goodbye Mr. Loser” centers on an unsuccessful man named Xia Luo. After he gets drunk at his ex-girlfriend’s wedding, he dreams that he goes back in time to his school years, takes revenge on his teachers, falls in love with the ex-girlfriend again and becomes a successful musician and writer. In September last year, a film version of “Goodbye Mr. Loser” was released and has grossed US$226.6 million in China.

    Mahua Fun Age Productions is renowned among young Chinese audiences for its absurdist humor and use of catchy Internet phrases.
