    SHENZHEN will see heavy rain and possibly thunderstorms tomorrow as temperature is expected to plunge to 8 degrees Celsius because of a cold snap.

    Temperature will rise Saturday, but will drop again slightly Monday, the Shenzhen Meteorological Observatory said yesterday.

    The observatory issued a yellow alert for the incoming cold front at 4 p.m. yesterday. China has a four-tier warning system for severe weather, with red being the most serious, followed by orange, yellow and blue.
