Hans Stam, a maker-expert from the Netherlands, will instruct tech-lovers at an Arduino workshop at Chaihuo Maker Space. Stam has been making software for 15 years.
Arduino is an open-source electronics platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software. Last week, Stam taught tech-lovers some basic skills on Arduino 101.
Those who didn’t attend last week’s workshop can also apply for this workshop. They will learn to control an RGB LCD display: to scroll, blink, fade and set the color of the display; to use a light, sound and humidity sensor; to make a bunch of flowers that respond to the input from the sensors and to build an automatic watering system for your plants!
Attendees should bring their own laptops. You can bring your Arduino controller or buy it at the workshop. Grove Starter Kit for Arduino will be lended to users at the workshop and you can also bring your own kit.
