Artists turn road into treacherous stretch in India
     2016-March-14  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

TALENTED 3-D artists have painted a frightening driving scenario on an Indian street in an attempt to reduce traffic accidents.

Created by Saumya and Shakun, the painting creates the illusion that the road is extending out over a deep body of water.

The street in Gujarat is infamous for road traffic accidents and the artists hope the image will encourage drivers to slow down. The artwork is thought to be the first of its kind in India.

One of the artists, Saumya Pandya Thakkar, uploaded the video to YouTube.

She said, “We have created the artwork using different colors so that the fast drivers slow down while seeing this artwork at the accident-prone zone.

“The best look of the artwork will be visible from right side drivers, who normally move on fast speed. We worked hard for two days without wasting a minute to finish it as soon as possible.”(SD-Agencies)
