Man adopts dog with two noses
     2016-March-15  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A CALIFORNIA freakshow owner has found one smell of a find — adopting a dog that has two noses.

Adorable pooch Toby did not turn his noses up at the chance to join owner Todd Ray at the Venice Beach Freakshow in Los Angeles after he was found roaming the streets and was nearly put down.

Since being adopted, the unique Australian Shepherd has been a huge hit at the attraction.

“Everyone that meets Toby loves him — he’s the sweetest dog on Earth,” Ray said.

Ray currently holds the Guinness World Record for the largest collection of two-headed animals, and is certainly accustomed to weird and wonderful creatures.

Discovered on the streets of Fresno, the dog catcher that found Toby was planning to put him down. Luckily, Ray was granted permission to adopt the dog, which is now 2 years old.

Ray was initially worried Toby’s nose may result in health issues, but a vet found the mutt to be in perfect health.

Now living at the freakshow, playful Toby bounds around meeting many visitors that have since become fans.

“I’m fascinated by weird animals’ beautiful differences and by the magical lessons that they teach us,” Ray said.

“The uniqueness of their forms shows us that ‘normal’ doesn’t exist.

“The sad thing is that, at this time, people are at a place where they will let a two-nosed dog get put down before they will adopt him — only because he looks different.”(SD-Agencies)
