IT’S being reported that One Direction star Harry Styles has landed his first film role in Christopher Nolan’s World War II action thriller “Dunkirk.”

    It is believed Styles will play a young man who gets caught up in the evacuation of the French city of Dunkirk as the Allied Forces fight the Nazis.

    The film also stars screen big names such as Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance and Kenneth Branagh.

    Production on the film is set to begin in May, with a release date set for next July.

    Meanwhile, it’s also reported that Styles will appear in season two of the hit U.S. comedy slasher series “Scream Queens.”

    He is set to play a character that’s in a relationship with a main character played by Lea Michele who played Rachel Berry in “Glee.”

    The show, which also stars Hollywood actress Emma Stone, returns later this year.

    The popular boy band One Direction is currently on hiatus, and members are undertaking solo projects during their break.
