FARMER Raymundo Corona has finally constructed an unusual pyramid in the Mexican desert after being told to do so by an alien visitor he says he met more than 30 years ago.
Corona told a local newspaper that he first met the extraterrestrial, who he said came from the planet Nefilin, back in 1984, reports Oddity Central.
The visitor was described by Corona as looking similar to a human being, but with honey-colored eyes, flowing white hair and wearing a tunic tied with a rope. Corona said the visitor gave him special instructions to build a temple in the shape of a pyramid.
“When I asked him why it had to be in the form of a pyramid, he said it was because it should be like my faith, something that winds and storms couldn’t move and was always pointing upwards,” Corona said.
The farmer reportedly held off from constructing the special monument for a time, partly because his alien visitor warned him he would not be taken seriously for his efforts. “Many people will laugh at you, defame and say it was an act of insanity or something he did during a bender, it was an act of a madman or a drug addict,” he said.
Corono also said he wasn’t quite sure how he eventually managed to built the special alien monument, as he only possesses a sixth grade education.
