Aira Nagineviciute’s latest modern dance production “Chimera’s Beads” features five women dancers of different ages. Each undergoes a cycle of transformation while maintaining their own rhythm and flow. They slide their desires, illusions, and experiences as beads on a string, shedding their skins as snakes and leaving them behind to go on with the eternal cycle of life. The performance is characterized by intensely visual stage images, interdisciplinary ways of thinking and examinations of inner states of a human being.
