To mark Arduino/Genuino Day on April 2, makers at Chaihuo Maker Space will hold a workshop to build a fun project — a stroboscope. Attendees should bring their own laptops.
A stroboscope, also known as a strobe, is an instrument used to make a cyclically moving object appear to be slow-moving or stationary. It consists of either a rotating disk with slots or holes or a lamp, such as a flashtube, which produces brief repetitive flashes of light. Stroboscopes are also used to measure frequency.
Arduino/Genuino Day is a worldwide birthday celebration of Arduino and Genuino. It’s a 24-hour-long event where people interested in Arduino and Genuino get together, share their experiences and learn.
