    Chinese mainland rocker Xu Wei will collaborate with Beijing band Gala and Taiwanese singer Shin for a show Saturday at the Shenzhen Bay Sports Center.

    ‘Digging a Hole in China’

    “Digging a Hole in China” exhibition features a range of works produced in contemporary China that connect to the land. The exhibition attempts to expose and analyze the discrepancies between this genre of work and “conventional” land art as understood in the Western art historical context, thereby probing the potential of “land” as a cultural concept in artistic practice.

    Dates: Until June 26

    European glass pieces

    Glass pieces on loan from the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague are on display, offering a thoughtful, expressive, and utterly breathtaking exploration of glassmaking in Europe from the 4th century B.C. to the present day. There is a large collection of Bohemian glass with enamel paintings and extravagantly cut glass bowls, plates, vases, goblets and bottles. Glass from other glassmaking regions of Europe such as the Roman Empire, Holland and Spain are also on display.
