FLOWERS FOR DEPARTED LOVED ONES
     2016-April-4  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

People place flowers near gravestones of their deceased relatives at a cemetery in Kunming, capital of Yunnan Province, yesterday, one day before the Qingming Festival, or Tomb-Sweeping Day. For years, it has been an important tradition for Chinese families to honor their ancestors and go out to enjoy the springtime during the festival. On this day, it is customary for Chinese people to tidy up the graves of departed beloved ones, burn incense and paper money, and give offerings. Nowadays, more people tend to remember the dead in an environmentally friendly way. More flowers are being sold but less paper money.Xinhua
