Guns N’ Roses concert
GUNS N’ Roses kicked off their long-awaited “Not in This Lifetime” tour by bringing their classics to the Troubadour in Los Angeles on Friday night.
G’N’R diehards were treated to the iconic band’s hits like “Welcome to the Jungle” and “Live and Let Die” as well as the reunion of lead vocalist Axl Rose and lead guitarist Slash alongside bassist Duff McKagan. The other musicians said to have been on stage included Richard Fortus on guitar, Dizzy Reed on keyboards, Frank Ferrer on drums and the band’s first female musician, Melissa Reese.
Taylor Swift ad
TAYLOR SWIFT battles a treadmill and loses in a new commercial for Apple Music released Friday.
In the ad, Swift is seen preparing for a cardio workout, putting on her gym playlist and rapping to Drake and Future’s “Jumpman.” The singer gets a little too enthusiastic about the song, however, and fist pumps so forcefully that she falls off the treadmill. The singer withheld her “1989” album from Apple Music’s streaming service when it launched last June, because the company wouldn’t pay labels for music sales during the service’s three-month trial. Following Swift’s open letter, Apple Music decided to pay royalties during the free trial.
