‘Shaun’s Big Show’ to debut in SZ
     2016-April-7  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

For all you many fans of “Shaun the Sheep,” there’s great news! The famous sheep will be coming to the stage in Shenzhen in a British live show, “Shaun’s Big Show!”

All the characters from the BBC TV series will feature in this English-language show, including Bitzer, Shirley, Timmy and the rest of the flock for plenty of dancing and music. The main storyline features the Flock accidentally discovering the joys of dance, and Shaun being inspired to put on his own show in the barn for his friends.

There’s a flock of cutely choreographed dancers in woolly costumes who bop away to a toddler-fascinating medley of music, including rock, pop, nursery rhymes, jazz and the better known bits of Bizet, Tchaikovsky and Strauss.

“Shaun the Sheep” is a British stop-motion animated television series, a spinoff of the “Wallace and Gromit” franchise. The series stars Shaun, a sheep previously featured in the 1995 short film “A Close Shave” and in the “Shopper 13” episode from the 2002 “Wallace and Gromit’s Cracking Contraptions” series, and his madcap adventures around a small farm as the leader of his flock. A feature-length film, titled “Shaun the Sheep Movie,” was released theatrically in 2015.
