“Liar,” a Chinese play adapted from Ray Cooney’s adult comedy play “Run for Your Wife,” will be staged at Huaxia Art Center in late April.

    The story concerns a man who has two wives, two lives and a very precise schedule for juggling them both. The two wives live in two different places.

    Trouble brews when he is mugged and ends up in the hospital, where both of his addresses surface, causing police from both areas to investigate. Having upset his schedule, the man becomes hopelessly entangled in his attempts to explain himself to his wives and two suspicious police officers with help from his lazy layabout neighbor.
