Green One Day

    Green One Day spreads the concept of a green life by blending live music with technology and makers. From 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday, 1,500 people, including investors and entrepreneurs, will gather for a startup meeting. From 7 p.m. till late, a live music show of metal, rock, Britpop, folk, hip-hop and electronic will be presented by AV Okubo (Wuhan), Toy Captain (Guangzhou), Green Bus (Shenzhen), Too Phat (Shenzhen), Mighty Orphans (U.S.) and Dr. Eggs (U.S.)

    David Gerstein exhibition

    Israeli painter and sculptor David Gerstein is exhibiting his dazzling sculptures. His post-pop art style is characterized by boldly colored, multi-layered cutout steel. Gerstein is also known for his outdoor sculptures, many of them decorating city squares. His outdoor sculpture “Momentum” is Singapore’s tallest public sculpture.

    Charity music

    Charity music events will be held at Sea World to raise money for 10-month-old Baby Yan’s heart surgery. McCawley’s Irish Pub, The Stage Live Music, The Terrace and X-TA-SEA will simultaneously be hosting concerts with 11 local bands bouncing between them. Guests can sit in one venue and enjoy live music, or bounce between all four venues to watch them all. Each venue is providing each guest with a free drink on each night. Ticket prices range from 100 yuan for access to a single venue for one day to 500 yuan for access to all venues over the weekend. Tickets can be purchased at the four venues.
