Singer contest

    POP star Coco Lee was crowned at the end of the fourth season of “I Am a Singer” on Friday night. The 41-year-old singer collaborated with American R&B singer Ne-Yo during the first round of competition, bringing a rendition of Michael Jackson’s hit “Earthsong.” She won the trophy for her performance of “A Love Before Time,” the theme song of Oscar-winning film “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.”

    “I Am a Singer” is a Chinese version of the Korean reality show of the same name. The previous winners were Yu Quan, Han Lei and Han Hong.

    ANNE HATHAWAY, 33, gave birth to a baby boy March 24, People confirmed.

    Johnathan Rosebanks is the first child for Hathaway and her producer husband Adam Shulman, who apparently like to do things in four-year cycles. The two married in 2012 after they started dating in 2008. Hathaway celebrated the pending arrival of her first child during a March 5 baby shower, where guests including Camila Alves McConaughey were seen arriving with presents.

    Daisy Lewellyn, who starred on Bravo’s reality TV series “Blood, Sweat & Heels” has died after battling a rare form of cancer.

    She was 36. Lewellyn was diagnosed two years ago with stage-three bile duct cancer, a rare form of the disease that affects the liver. Despite undergoing chemotherapy, she continued to do “Blood, Sweat & Heels,” which follows the personal lives and careers of a group of New York City women in their daily lives. Lewellyn was a stylist and author of “Never Pay Retail Again.”

    BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN and the E Street Band canceled their North Carolina concert because of the state’s new law blocking anti-discrimination rules for the LGBT community, said guitarist Steven Van Zandt, calling it the kind of legislation that’s like an “evil virus” spreading around the United States.

    The law requires transgender people to use bathrooms based on their biological sex and bans state lawsuits for any type of workplace discrimination. People who bought tickets to the concert can get refunds.
