The 7th Hainan Rendez-Vous, China’s largest annual lifestyle and yacht show, will be held in Sanya, the famous tourist resort in southern Hainan Province from Dec. 8 to 11.

    With the aim of promoting high-end fashion and lifestyle, the event will bring together the collection of rare and the most sought-after luxury concepts, from vintage wine, cuisine, art, to automobiles, yachts and private jets from around the world.

    This year’s event will be held in three locations: Sanya Bay, Yalong Bay and Haitang Bay, by taking advantage of their respective scenic characteristics.

    The main venue Sanya Bay will host a grand opening ceremony that promises a spectacular visual effect through the interaction of multimedia. The opening ceremony will be live broadcasted through the event’s app and on its official website. A show of more than 20 famous yacht brands from the world’s five biggest yacht manufacturers, an air show and a drone flying show will be staged there, as well as a charity night with arts auctions.

    Yalong Bay will put on a slew of exhibitions, including golf products, vintage cars, and art works by emerging artists from around the world. In addition, celebrity golf matches and friendly matches will be held in between.

    Fashionistas will be interested in activities at Haitang Bay for its fashion items such as jewelry, perfume, furniture, brand watches, avant-garde wearable devices and a bikini show while savoring cuisines from different countries and enjoying relaxing marine sports.

    Building on the success of previous events, this year’s show will cooperate with overseas brands in line with the strategic development under the Belt and Road Initiative to boost cultural exchanges with countries in Southeast Asia, the Mediterranean and the Adriatic area.(Anna Zhao)
