The 2016 Shenzhen International will be held at Genzon Golf Club in Longgang District this weekend, during which the world-famous professional Bubba Watson will compete with 156 players for the championship. The prize is US$2.8 million.

    Watson is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. One of the few left-handed golfers on tour, he is a multiple major champion, having won the Masters Tournament in 2012 and 2014. In February 2015, Watson reached a career-high second place in the Official World Golf Ranking.

    Watson is among the longest drivers on the PGA Tour; in 2007, he had an average drive of 288.2m and can hit a ball over 320m, capable of generating a ball speed up to 312 km/h.

    During the Shenzhen event, an interactive zone will provide visitors with wonderful family activities. Different games are designed for different ages.
